Directions to the Birchwood Motel in Camden, Maine
Please note roadsigns & exit numbers have changed. We're about 2-1/2 hours from Maine's southern border. Head North on I-95 to I-295N. Exit #28 Bath/Brunswick to US Rt. 1N. Follow Rt. 1 (about 45 minutes); Left onto Rt. 90; follow to end; Left onto Rt. 1N through Camden. The Birchwood is on left. 2-1/2 miles north of downtown (1 mile North of the State Park). And yes, we are physically located in the town of Camden! IF YOU MESS UP OR CAN'T DEAL WITH RT. 1 congestion--Alternate route is to stay on 95 through Augusta and pick up Rt. 17 towards Rockland. About an hour in, look for Rt. 90 to Camden. This is longer mileage-wise but good on peak summer travel days when traffic on Rt. One is too heavy.
