Driving to Birchwood Motel

Google Maps will give you the most accurate advice with several routes, mileage and estimated time. Our physical address is 530 Belfast Road. This is Route One. 

Here are my basic directions:
Birchwood Motel is about 2 -1/2 hours from Maine's southern border. Head North on I-95 to I-295N through Portland. Take Exit #28 Bath/Brunswick to US Rt. 1N. Follow Rt. 1 (about 45 minutes); Left onto Rt. 90 (this is a bypass); follow Rt. 90 to its end; Left back onto Rt. 1N through Camden.Birchwood Motel is on left about 2-1/2 miles north of downtown (1 mile North of the Camden Hills State Park main entrance). IF YOU MISS Exit 28 or 31 or if you require an alternate route due to heavy summer traffic: stay on I-95 through Augusta and pick up Rt. 17 towards Rockland. Left on Rt. 90 to Camden. Be warned, this is a longer route.
